1. Imagine the viewer is a character in an interactive film set in the Himalayas.
If you imagine something or a situation, you think about it and your mind forms a picture or idea of it.
1) imagine + doing
She couldn't imagine living in a place like that.
2) imagine + clause
Can you imagine how she must have felt when Mary saw me crying?
(wrong) She could not imagine to live with Daniel'.
2. set
vt. 为(故事等)构设背景，使(故事, 剧情)以……为背景，布置(舞台等)
The story is set in the early days of World War II.
这故事是以第二次世界大战初期为背景.
set a stage 为舞台布景
be set in 以……为背景
3. not only
1) not only A but also B ＝ B as well as A
2) but also中的also也可省去；but also也可换为but．．．as well
3) not only．．．but also．．．连接并列主语时，谓语遵循 “就近 原则”
4) not only提到句首，not only所在分句用部分倒装
He likes not only English but also Chinese. |
