Starter, Unit 7 Colours
The first period
I. Teaching aims: In this period, the Ss are supposed to master the knowledge from P.32~34, including: welcome to the unit/listening/speaking/reading
1).Knowledge Aims: 1. Vocabulary: the new words of the colours and the clothes
2. Listening: What colour…?
3. Reading: Here it is. Here they are. Here is your coat. Etc
2).Competence Aims: 1. Learn the new words in the four parts by heart
2. Be able to master the listening materials
3. Be fluent in speaking and reading
3).Moral Aims: Learn to take good care of their things
II. Teaching focus and difficulties:
1).Key points: 1. Revise and practise the sentence structure: What colour is…? What colour are…? 2. Master the words and phrases in these parts
2).Difficult points: 1. Be able to differentiate colours when describing their classmates
2. Speak fluently
III. Teaching methods: 1. Situational approach teaching (情景教学法) 2. Task-based language teaching (任务型教学法)
