Teaching Procedures
Step 1. Warming up
1.Get the Ss to name some natural disasters.
2.Play a game. Drop some hints and get the Ss to guess what natural disaster we are describing.
Step 2. Leading in
Let the Ss watch a video about the Taiwan earthquake
Ask: What is the video about?
Step 3. Presentation
Tell the Ss more about the earthquake, present some key words and phrases. e.g ‘shake be trapped in a hurry’ etc. Explain their meanings by using body language while show the Ss pictures that are related to the key words and phrases.
