Teaching objectives:
Ø Introduce and develop the theme of the benefits of laughter for people
Ø Encourage students to talk about their favorite comedians and the reasons why people like funny things
Ø Understand the article stand up for your health with both general and detailed questions
Ø Help the students understand “laughter is the best medicine” and encourage them to practice it in their lives
Ø Learn and master more words in play scripts and used on stage
Ø Review the usage of present tenses and practice using the four kinds of present tenses
Ø Learn how to identify priorities, how to ask questions orally and how to answer questions in an e-mail
Ø Read the two short plays and apply what they have learnt to practical use by performing a short comedy play
