In September 2008, after the Beijing Olympic Games, China will send Shenzhou VII into space. It will be China’s third manned (有人驾驶的)spacecraft and it will take three astronauts. The differences between Shenzhou VII and Shenzhou VI are not only that Shenzhou VII will take one more astronaut, but also that one of the astronauts will go out of the spacecraft and walk in space.
The selection(选择) and training of the three astronauts has begun . Yang Liwei, China’s first astronaut in space, Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng, the astronauts in China’s second manned spacecraft, are all working hard for the mission(任务). Although China has begun the training of women astronauts, there will still not be any women astronauts in Shenzhou VII.
