8B Units4-6分两课时复习:
第一课时主要复习词汇;
第二课时注重句型、话题的复习和小测试。
本课时教学目标
知识目标:复习8B Units4-6的词汇,以四会词为主。
技能目标:能正确运用该部分四会词并能理解三会词。
情感目标:增强学生的责任感,培养其乐于助人的情感。
课前预习
1)学生:复习教材后先完成《中考指导》8B Units4-6 P97-98,即自主练习中关于词汇的第一、二、三项,通过此项练习使学生对预习有个自我检测。
2)老师:通过对学生的自主练习的批改,对学生预习情况有大致的了解,在词汇复习后选择错得较多的题目进行错题重现,尽可能使学生自己解决问题。
Teaching Plan
Step1. Lead in
Show Ss a beautiful picture of snow. Then show some pictures of the snowstorm to them.
Tell Ss: This year the snowstorm hit Nanjing and many people suffered from it. But charities helped many people. Then ask Ss if they still remember these charities.
Step2 Presentation
1.Tell Ss that I have interviewed one of the international charities called ORBIS and ask them to help me review this interview.
Show Ss four key words: modern medicine, blindness, patients and ORBIS. Ask them to open their books and find the expressions related to them with groups of four. (I hope Ss can review by themselves with my clues.)
2. Ask Ss to discuss: How can we help ORBIS?
3. Tell Ss: One way to help ORBIS is to organize a charity show. Then present the key words: why, who, what. Ss need to review and find the expressions about these.
4. Tell Ss: Another way to help ORBIS is to hold a charity walk. Then review with the key words: aim/purpose, tough, need to do.
Step3. Practice
1.Correct their preview work. Present the exercises. And ask them to do these again. (I hope they can solve their own problems by themselves.)
2. Ask Ss to do the exercises (<中考指导> 课堂练习 第三项).
3. Ask Ss to do more exercises about vocabulary(学案).
Step4. Homework
1.通过复习8B Units4-6的词汇,完成《中考指导》巩固练习的第一,二项。
2.预习8B Units4-6句型并完成《中考指导》自主练习第四项。
